Group of Cancer Immunology (GCIM)

The Cancer Immunology group studies the mechanisms of action of biologic response modifiers, leading to improvement of lymphocyte-mediated anticancer responses. Our group focuses on three main axes:

 

1 ) Mechanism of action of the immunomodulatory polypeptide prothymosin alpha

2 ) Screening of novel bioactive anticancer molecules

 

3 ) Evaluation of immunotherapeutic protocols in vitro and in preclinical (in vivo) models in mice
